The Dionysian Mysteries
20/03/2021 @ 17:00 - 18:30
£15A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins, the first in a series about the various Mystery traditions and their ageless wisdom teachings.
The Dionysian Mysteries are amongst the oldest of the Mystery traditions. Established first in ancient Thracia, and renovated by Orpheus (hence known sometimes as the Orphic Mysteries), its wisdom underlies that of Christ and the Christian Mysteries. The Hebraic Mysteries, as founded by Abraham, also had a basis in the Dionysian Mysteries, a form of which was being practiced in Haran, Mesopotamia, from where Abraham originated. The Dionysian Mysteries are key to understanding the mystery of Europe as a whole, as also that of Francis Bacon and the Rosicrucians.
