The Swan Mysteries

19/12/2021 @ 17:00 - 18:30

£15

A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins, the fourth in a series about the various Mystery traditions and their ageless wisdom teachings.

The Swan Mysteries concern some of the deepest truths, and are embodied in the whole mystery of Shakespeare – the collection of works and their authors – and in the land. They provide particular keys to the mystery of life itself and the pathway to the stars. The Swan is the emblem of the great Poet, the one who speaks the truth. Such a person is inspired with wisdom, and both sees and knows the truth. Thus the Swan is emblematic of a person who is illumined and can give light to others. Moreover, this not only relates to individual persons, but also to the landscape and the stars, giving clues as to how the landscape itself as well as humans can become like stars. In fact, the Swan references the very centre from where the universe is laid out or given birth.
