Francis Bacon Research Trust
The logo of the Francis Bacon Research Trust consists of a golden rose blossoming from the heart of a green fleur-de-lis and radiating golden rays of light. Underlying the design is an equal-armed cross.

The rose signifies intelligence, the true soul, blossoming in beauty from the heart of the cross of wisdom.

The rose is symbolic of the heart of the mortal human soul, which blossoms in beauty from the knowledge gained by living in harmony with the immortal wisdom.

The cross is symbolic of the immortal wisdom, which is love, and of wisdom’s four stages of the life process – namely, impulse, desire, thought, action.

When done with love, the life process becomes good impulse, goodwill, good thought, good action, wherein good means loving. The result is the blossoming of the rose.

The marriage of wisdom (the cross) and knowledge (the rose) produces the light of delight, which shines from the heart.

When the heart rose is raised to the crown in an offering of love, the individual soul is united with the universal soul, which is the second marriage.

This crown consciousness is represented by the fleur-de-lis.
