SUMMARY:The Three-sided Pyramids in Francis Bacon’s Work
DESCRIPTION:A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins explaining the use and symbolism of the two three-sided pyramids in the philosopher Sir Francis Bacon’s ‘Great Instauration’ – the work that is designed to bring about a “total reconstruction of the sciences\, arts\, and all human knowledge raised on proper foundations”. \nPeter will explain how this is a Rosy Cross (or Rosicrucian) work\, which was spread abroad and taken up by the Magian-come-Rosicrucian societies of Europe\, especially by those in the German States – a work that restores a state of paradise upon earth\, but coupled with the illumination of mankind\, wherein humanity knows the truth because it practices truth\, which truth is love in action. \nThe talk will be in English\, with concurrent translation into German by Heidemarie Falldorf. \nThis talk on Zoom forms part of the hybrid ‘Fourth Heaven’ event and is open to participants and non-participants. \nCost £15. To book\, please contact the FBRT Secretary: \nEmail: sarah@fbrt.org.uk. Tel: 01295 678 623. \nOn receipt of payment\, the Zoom link will be sent to you. \nA recording of the talk can be made available for attendees if requested\, as also for those who pay for the talk but do not attend it live on Zoom. Please contact the FBRT Secretary. \nThe displayed picture is a coloured version of the Bride-Gemini headpiece printed in the 1624 Cryptomenytices et Cryptographiae by Gustavus Selenus (Augustus II\, the Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg).

SUMMARY:Sardinia\, the Footprint of Divinity
DESCRIPTION:A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins about the importance of Sardinia in the Swan of Europe landscape temple\, and how it is part of the Europa and Bull Mystery from which Europe derives its name. \nSardinia was considered a sacred mountain prior to the last flood and the creation of the Mediterranean Sea. It was formerly joined with Corsica and mainland Europe. It is an island of beauty with 7000 ancient temples and sanctuaries. Many of the temples were built by the Nuraghe (‘the shining ones’) between 2500-3000 BC. The Nuraghe were navigators\, mathematicians and astronomers. \nSardinia was called Ichnusa by the Greeks\, meaning ‘footprint’\, because the island is shaped like a footprint. The Greeks also called the island Argyrophleps\, meaning “veins of silver”\, because of its rich ancient silver mines. \nSardinia\, the Silver Isle\, is the twin of Corsica\, the Golden Isle\, whose heart mountain is Monte d’Oro\, ‘Mountain of Gold’. The friendship between the two is like an amalgam of silver and gold – a golden friendship\, silver-tinged. \nThis talk on Zoom acts as a precursor to the Shakespeare Mystery in Sardinia hybrid event\, ‘Living the Beauty of Golden Friendship’. The talk can be attended by anyone interested in the subject\, as well as by participants in the hybrid event. \nFor those who attend the talk\, there will be time for questions\, answers and insights after the talk. This post-talk sharing is usually full of extra information. \n\nTime = 17:00-19:00 (UK time)\n(inclusive of talk plus questions\, answers and insights after the talk.) \nCost = £25 per person.\n(For those participating in the Sardinia Shakespeare Mystery hybrid event\, the cost of the talk is included in the hybrid event fee.) \nTo book\, please contact the FBRT Secretary: \nEmail: sarah@fbrt.org.uk. Tel: 01295 678 623. \nOn receipt of payment\, the Zoom link will be sent to you. \nA recording of the talk (but not of the sharing afterwards) can be made available for attendees if requested\, as also for those who pay for the talk but do not attend it live on Zoom. Please contact the FBRT Secretary. \nThe photo is of the Nuraghe Santu Antine\, Sardinia.

SUMMARY:The Mystery of the Christmas Saturnalia and Knights of the Helmet
DESCRIPTION:A talk on Zoom by Peter Dawkins about midwinter’s Saturnalia and Twelve Days of Christmas\, including that of 1594/5 when Gray’s Inn hosted a grand entertainment during which the Shakespeare play\, Comedy of Errors\, was enacted\, followed by the masque\, The Order of the Knights of the Helmet. \nThis “Gesta Grayorum”\, as it was called in Latin\, announced and made public many things previously kept secret\, including the hint that the Knights of the Helmet are the true Spearshakers\, or Shakespeares\, who\, like St George\, shake their spears of inspiration at the dragons of ignorance\, so that the dragons might come to know the truth. \n\nCost £15. To book\, please contact the FBRT Secretary:\nEmail: sarah@fbrt.org.uk. Tel: 01295 678 623. \nOn receipt of payment\, the Zoom link will be sent to you. \nFor those who attend this talk\, there will be time for questions\, answers and insights after the talk. Please contact the FBRT Secretary. \nThe displayed picture is a coloured version of the AA-Gemini-Spearshakers headpiece printed in Francis Bacon’s 1623 De Dignitate et Augmentis Scientiarum and in the 1627 Manes Verulamiani tributes to Francis Bacon.
