Aims of
the Trust |
The Trust researches and provides
education in the philosophy, life and works of Sir Francis Bacon, Shakespeare,
the Rosicrucians and other key exponents of the Ancient Perennial Wisdom
associated with Francis Bacon or having a bearing on his work.
|
|
The Great
Instauration |
The Trust especially focuses on
the Wisdom teachings embodied in these works, and with the Baconian-Rosicrucian
plan and method known as the Great Instauration or Six Days' Work.
|
|
The Six
Day's Work |
The Six Days' Work, using the science of Genesis, is a
long-term creative programme and method intended to help bring about a
world-wide illumination, prosperity and peace based on a knowledge of
the laws of love.
|
|
The First
Day
|
The Baconian-Rosicrucian work carried out during the 16th/17th
centuries was called the 'First Day' of the Six Days' Work, its intention
being to provide an inspirational 'Light' from which everything else would
proceed and which would give illumination on the path in the centuries
and ages ahead.
|
|
The Light
of Wisdom |
This Light is the wisdom of ages synthesised from many
sources and gathered together in books, drama, music and art, under the
guiding direction of Francis Bacon and other inspired initiates who worked
with him. This provides a great heritage and resource for us to use.
|
|
Solomon's Temple
|
Bacon was known to his king and
contemporaries as 'Solomon', and he referred to his work as building a Temple
in the mind of humanity - a Temple of light or wisdom - and manifesting
this on earth as a new Paradise.
|
|
Bacon and Shakespeare
|
The philosophical works of Bacon
and the poetic/dramatic works of Shakespeare are associated with each other
as twin beacons or 'Pillars', which together provide a gateway to 'Solomon's
Temple' and a key to an even greater Light of Wisdom.
|
|
Bacon's Science
|
Bacon's science is not the same
as mainstream science, and was never intended to be or thought possible
to be the same, although it gave a certain inspiration to the founding of
modern science. It was designed to operate side by side with mainstream
science, as a work of philanthropy, under divine guidance and inspiration, for the betterment and upliftment of the whole human race and the care of nature.
